Horizons of the now: contemporary perspectives on gender, technological culture and social media

This volume seeks to transform social, cultural, historical, and technological frameworks into tools for critical reflection on the construction of gender in social media, as well as on the ways bodies and their differences are presented and represented in a context where digital screens mediate our relationships with others. Moreover, it aims to interrogate the grievances and conflicts that the rise of far-right movements online projects onto the recent achievements in equality and social justice.
